I’m Dar
a product designer with five years of experience in design, the last two focused on product design. In my last role at a startup, I worked closely with product managers and developers from early product decisions through implementation.
My interest in design began with drawing and photography, and led me to study graphic design at Shenkar. I was drawn to the craft before I thought of it as a career, and quickly felt at home. Working in graphic design developed my eye for composition and detail. Product design gave me a broader set of questions to explore: how things work, what people need, and what gets in their way. Wanting to dig deeper, I returned to Shenkar to study UX/UI while continuing to work.
What I enjoy most is working through a tricky flow until each step feels natural. There’s something satisfying about putting a lot of thought into a solution that eventually looks obvious. Ideally, the person using it will never know how long I spent thinking about it.
